STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (MIS) FOR PURCHASING AND SELLING HOUSE’S FURNITURE

ABSTRACT

 

            This project focuses on the study and implementation of management information system (MIS) and multi client server for a small furniture company that willing to have good management in purchasing and selling their stocks. The implementation of MIS in this system will help the store manager to make better decisions by generating information from the database. The goal of MIS is to help the manager to meet his business goals. The features used in the system will be maintaining employees/ suppliers information, maintaining stock information, and preparation of payment. The system will implement better security by using password authorization. Only the authorize person can access the protected data by entering the passwords. Besides that the system will also provide customer service information for maintaining a good relationship with customers. Customer service information is the services that mostly furniture stores provide in delivering stocks and how they evaluate the satisfaction of the customer. The system will record and display stock that have not delivered yet and recorded customer satisfaction. The system will also provide a friendly object oriented user interface to interact with the users.
