DEVELOPMENT OF A
PROTOTYPE SECURITY SYSTEM FOR COLLEGE ENVIRONMENT

This special study project investigates and evaluates the current technology of security systems being applied in factories, housing areas and in organization. It is also the technologies and systems that work together with security system. This prototype system will serves as a centralize security system that will be developed to control the alarm system, access system and monitoring system in a college environment which could expanded to cover other areas such as houses, factories and organizations. An in-depth will be made towards the models and technologies of the security system today for examples CCTV, Camera, vibration technologies, access cards, proxy cards, etc. Moreover, this project will also include recommendations, thus the costing of the setting of the security system including the devices to each of the category – houses, organization and factories. A prototype will be developed to provide a better security to a particular environment. With all the underlying concepts and advice from experts of the above mention fields, the author will develop a prototype that can monitor the security system of the college environment
