ABSTRACT

 

            This project studies the concept of online job recruitment method in today’s business environment. As a background study, it investigates the roles of information technology in management of human resource. This project investigates the features of online job recruitment and compares this method with the conventional way of recruiting employees. It identifies the benefits and criticism of online job recruitment. In addition, an organization that recruits through online service will be selected and studied to identify the effectiveness of adopting such method. A comparison of techniques and tools for building an application that facilitates online job posting and job seeking functions will be made. In order to support the findings, a prototype of the application will be built.
