A DETAILED STUDY ON THE WEB-AUTHORING LANGUAGES AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A DYNAMIC WEB-BASED MP3 SEARCH ENGINE USING HTML, DHTML AND ASP

ABSTRACT
This project is accordingly divided into two portions; the background study and the web page development. The first portions basically aims to conduct a research on the various web-authoring languages as well as to make comparisons on the focused languages. These languages are essential and indispensable in developing web applications and web pages according to the desired specifications. The web-authoring language study are intended to provide a clearer view on the specifications of distinct languages, as well as their respective advantages and disadvantages perceived. For the second portion, a dynamic multimedia web page are developed and formatted using the HTML as well as a newer type of HTML named the Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language (DHTML). Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) will be used appropriately as well. A project plan is generated in order to provide some guidelines that are to be followed and conformed to along the development of the project.
