This project will investigate the file sharing via different network file system. It will investigate the Microsoft Windows and Linux Network File System separately. The separation will include their definition, their works, growth of the network file system and so on. The function of the network file system of both Microsoft Windows and Linux will be evaluated. All the issue with regards to the network file system such as file size, read only and write only will be discussed. The techniques, tools and software that use for the research will also determine.
