AN APPLICATION ON DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR RETAIL BUSINESS IN MALAYSIA

ABSTRACT
This project conducts an in-depth study on the information system, which focuses the development potential of Decision Support System in retail businesses in Malaysia. The researches of the project will emphasis on the uses of Decision Support System to help the management of the retail business activities. Besides that, the project investigates the strength and the limitation of Decision Support System in order to help manager in gaining competitive advantages. Finally, the project will be based on the strength of Decision Support System to implement a workable application, Inventory Control System for the management of retail business, for instance the LKB Machinery & Trading, a company which deal with the electronic scale and food machinery businesses.
