A STUDY ON FOUR TYPES OF E-COMMERCE TRANSACTIONS AND IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED ONLINE MUSIC STORE

ABSTRACT

 

            Electronic Commerce is the future of the online businesses. Most of the businesses will be roads of e-commerce not too long from now. E-Commerce is no longer a new trend but we cannot overlook the new terms and technologies that are run behind to make e-commerce, always a powerful business tool. Very often it is difficult to get past the hype of any new term and technology and into the nitty-gritty of it realities. For that reason, the author chose e-commerce as a research topic. Since e-commerce covered a wide range of online businesses, the author wanted to hone on the more specific area under the popular e-commerce transactions, Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Consumer (B2C), Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) and Consumer-to-Business (C2B). In order to show understanding of research and to apply the concepts of these transactions, a system development was necessary. But, developing four system based on these four transactions was virtually impossible. Thus, the author decided to develop a system. Which focused only on B2C transaction.
