ABSTRACT

 

            This project addresses issues on how an organization can maintain its competitive edge by using knowledge management principle applied in the form of corporate portal. Knowledge management is the process through which organization generates values from their employee’s knowledge. Using this system, users can exchange information either directly or indirectly. Users may also post notices and announcements, and share files. The system will use an authorization mechanism before user can gain access to it. The area of study will emphasize on how the organization may foster innovation by encouraging free flow of ideas through knowledge management principle applied in the portal. Client-server technology is the main techniques to be used in building the system. .Net technology will be used as the framework of the system. As a conclusion, this project aims to create a system that can act as a platform to exchange knowledge between all the different functional units of INTI College Malaysia.
