ABSTRACT
In this report the main issue is about analyzing the current features, characteristics, popularity, and problems in e-books, and tries to produce a more advanced e-book application. Most of the results were based on the questionnaire and own experience in using e-book. A primary research was done at the beginning to find out the definition or basic concept e-book. Besides that, other topics include the nature and features of e-book, the advantages and disadvantages of e-book, the popularity and problems in e-book, evaluate available web authoring tools, the network configuration and architecture, the design features of e-book, selected programming language used to develop to the application, and finally implementing and testing the finished application.
