STUDY ON EXPERT TECHNOLOGIES IN DEVELOPING AN ONLINE JOB RECRUITMENT SYSTEM FOR HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT

ABSTRACT

 

            The main objective of this project is to provide the Expert consultation for the staffs in Garuda Plaza Hotel in testing and understanding their skills and to understand their real skills that can be used in the hotel. The system that the author has developed will provide the Human Resource department with the online job recruitment, which has the function when Human Resource Officer wants to find and recruit a new staff. If there is an empty position, the system will allow Human Resource officer to check from the current staffs, whether there are staffs that request to be transferred can fulfill the basic requirement which are needed for that particular position, otherwise they can check from the outside applicants. The system is an online system, so it allows applicants to apply via the Internet. From these applicants, the system will check and identify whether the applicants are suitable for the position based from their qualifications. Besides that, the system will also provide some consultations for staffs in finding out their characteristics, abilities and suitability of their qualifications toward a particular position. The system will generate the final name list and recommendation to the user. This program is developed using Microsoft Frontpage 2000, Macromedia Dreamweaver Ultradev4 with Active Server Pages programming language in Microsoft Advance server environment.
