A STUDY ON XML TECHNOLOGY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE XML BASED E-COMMERCE APPLICATION

ABSTRACT
This project is basically deals with a thorough study on how Extensive Markup Language (XML) technology can be implemented into a commercial application. The main aim of the project is to determine that what are the capabilities of XML on e-commerce application. This project research is carried out to make comparison between HTML language and XML language. From this project, enhancement solutions on current web based E-commerce application using HTML language will be produced. This project will research new methods as well as features of XML to enhance the current existing E-Commerce application. A thorough study will be conducted on how XML language has an edge over HTML in terms of usage and functionality. In addition, additional knowledge of the concepts behind XML can be gathered.
