IMPLEMENT A NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR A WINDOWS BASED NETWORK ENVIRONMENT USING JAVA PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

ABSTRACT
This project is going to develop a network management system that is able to serve an intranet with more secure and reliable environment. Although it was tested in INTI College computer lab, it can also be implemented in any computer lab that runs under Windows 98 Operating System. In this project, computerize user login is the main function that the author will focus on. An analysis will be carried out to look for several issues in network management features. In this analysis, the author will point out what feature must be obtain while develop the system. The author will try to find out the challenges of Java. Multithreading is one of the essential part of this study. This is important because data shared by several threads can be corrupted if they are not properly synchronized. Multithreaded programming requires careful attention details.
