This project aims to research on the architecture of Distributed System, then select the architecture of the Distributed Database System for implement a simple Distributed Database System. This project will also research on the security of the Distributed Database System because security is very important for the database system, they must control over the user access and others. The author divides this project report to four phases, they include preliminary investigation, analysis, design and implementation, and evaluation phase. The preliminary investigation phase covers the factors and problems that create a Distributed Database System, network architecture and protocols that needed on Distributed Database System, Database Management System (DBMS) software platforms that available in the market, the architecture of Distributed Database System and the last one is the security of the Distributed Database System. Design and implementation will include user interface design, database design and file design and the development and implementation of the system, which is the problems and solutions encountered in the process.
