This project addresses issues on the online business-to-business (B2B) portal, trading exchange and information hub dedicated to timber and timber-related industries. This project will involve an in-depth research on the process of B2B business. The project sought solution on promoting international timber exchange, which allows the timber buyers/ sellers carry out business with pre-selected international sellers/ buyers who are ready to trade. It addresses the features and benefits of the proposed system, which include a search directory of the timber buyers and sellers, a forum and a chat room for discussion. It also allows them to purchase order document. The project aims to deliver a neutral, affordable, and secured Internet marketplace for the timber buyers and sellers.
