The scope of this project would be to introduce reader of the data mining, the process involved and the available products in the market and the characteristic of each product. Besides, it will provide information on what is the terminology that frequently used in data mining products. It will also introduce the current and new application of data mining in various industries such as banking, healthcare, and so on. Further discussion will be on Decision Support System (DSS), which involve introduction to DSS as well as the characteristic and the main purpose of a DSS. The next part will be the warehousing and how data mining relates to ware housing.
