ABSTRACT
3D animation has been growing steadily in terms of sophistication and popularity in the past few years. Most notable is its inclusion in movies and television shows. The reason why 3D has just been growing in popularity is the increase in power of processors as well as other hardware. There are now many types of 3D animation software available for which one is 3D Studio Max. This software is popular among users because even the home user can use the software as well as the expert. Many ways can be used to produce a 3D animation, from still images to moving frames. Animation in 3D is unlike animation that use cell images and frame-by-frame movement. This makes it extremely simple to produce a 3D animation. 3D animation uses key frame animation where an image will move based on key co-ordinates in a movie. 3D animation has a limitation because it is very time consuming and it takes some time for a person to master the 3D software. This is a major hindrance to user of the software.
