A STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF 2D ANIMATED E-TOURISM PACKAGE FOR INTERESTING LOCATIONS IN WEST MALAYSIA

This project will focus on the promotions of interesting tourism locations in West Malaysia. This project will combine the elements of video, sound, 2D animation and combine them into a single multimedia application to be distributed in a CD. A few interesting locations in West Malaysia will be selected for the shooting of the video. 2D animation will be added into the video as presenter or E-Tourist guide. The application will be designed to be an electronic tourist brochure, which will also provide potential tourist with information about the tourist location featured in this application. This multimedia project involves the use of many multimedia technologies to produce a true multimedia application. Methods of producing a truly professional video will be reviewed and learned, and HCI concepts will be implemented during the design of the multimedia application. This project also involves the drawing of a 2d animation to play the role of E-Tourist guide. Animation creation software will be used to perform this task. Sound editing software will also be used to create sounds for this animation. This project is beneficial for potential local and foreign tourist who would like to visit Malaysia. This project will feature some of the interesting places in West Malaysia and the information provided will also help tourist plan their trips
