DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA DOGS ENCYCLOPEDIA FOR DOG LOVERS AND OWNERS

ABSTRACT
This project aims to develop an interactive multimedia encyclopedia of dogs. It investigates the various breeds of dogs and aspects that are important to dog lovers and owners. The dogs are categorized into various breeds whereas the characteristics, behavior, care and training will be included also. This interactive multimedia encyclopedia will be equipped with colorful photographs, sound, text, video and animation. This will help users to increase their interest. This system is able to give information for selection of dogs by the users. Users can view the descriptive dogs information together with the attractive photographs and sound, instead of just reading long and dull sentences. This encyclopedia is a valuable and interesting reference source for every dog lover and owner compared to other traditional text-based encyclopedia that is hard to carry around.
