DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA TEACHWARE USING 2D ANIMATION FOR CHILDREN TO BRUSH UP THEIR COMMUNICATION SKILL

ABSTRACT
This interactive multimedia teachware emphasize on teaching pre-school children basic communication skills. This teachware uses short animation as teaching material to attract children’s attention. They will bbe given some quizzes to test their understanding. Flash is the main software to be used to develop these short animation. Quizzes will be developed by using Director. A research will be conducted on the tools and techniques to be used in this interactive multimedia teachware. Children can learn in a more attractive way compared to the traditional approach. This ensures the learning process to be more effective. The HCI guidelibes will be applied to the teach ware interface. In a nutshell, children should be able to gain knowledge through a more high-tech approach. They will feel interested in their study and the degree of learning process will enhance rapidly.
