IN-DEPTH STUDY ON INTERACTIVE VIDEO BASED HYPERMEDIA TECHNOLOGY IN IMPLEMENTING LECTURE-ON-DEMAND APPLICATION

This project aims to provide an advanced multimedia environment for lecturing. Investigation will be conducted on interactive hypermedia and how it can be applied in lecture-on-demand application. The system provides hypermedia linking to videos, documents and other media files in the lecture-on-demand system. While users are watching the videos, they could select the information they desired to know by clicking on the hyperlinks. This system is ideal for distance learning and training purposes. It can help to save time and cost where the person involved need to have to be at the particular location. This project will also investigate on the compression technology and decide the best ones to be incorporated into the system.
