STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NOTIFICATION ENGINE IN WINDOWS ENVIRONMENT

ABSTRACT
The aim of this project is to create a solution for providing an integrated tool for fax, email and SMS at Microsoft Windows NT platform and to develop an engine that enables to plug with any system for business purposes especially in exchanging and delivering information. Through the engine, user can send notification to external such as partners, employee, customer, supplier or even to internal part such as departments within the same company. The core idea of this project was come from a website, which provided email and fax service as a solution for business messaging. An engine was decides to be developed, which could plug to a client system. This engine enabled handling notification generation. After feasibility study had been done on SMS messaging, it was decided to include SMS notification technique in the engine. With this system, it allow the user to communicate by exchanging their messages. For instance, in business point of view, this system enables the well distribution of documents such as sales order, invoice, purchase order, product catalogs and notices. Users will take the advantages of the integrated messaging.
