STUDY ON ASP (ACTIVE SERVER PAGE) TECHNOLOGY AND IMPLEMENTATION OD ASP CODE GENERATOR AND ASP SYNTAX DEBUGGER

ABSTRACT
ASPCoder (ASP Code Generator and ASP Syntax Debugger) is designed to allow users to develop ASP script in different platforms. The main focus of ASP Code Generator is to reduce the workload of programmers in writing again and again the similar codes. Besides that, syntax debugger is focusing in reducing syntax errors generated by programmers. Anyhow, there are some similar products available in the market. However, the products are not free. The best ASP code generator debugger available in the market are Microsoft Interdev and Microsoft Studio.Net. Microsoft plays the main role in ASP code generator and debugger because ASP is their own product. For other products like TextPad and EasyASP, they both run under the support of Microsoft Web Server API. Somehow, this software is also not free. By using the combination of different area of knowledge, the author had manage to produce an ASP code generator and ASP Syntax Sebugger without the support of Microsoft Web Server API. Moreover, ASPCoder is a platform-independent software. It can runs under different platforms as long as JAVA Development Kit is available. As for easier upgrading ASPCoder, it is written in Object-Oriented Model. So, the changes on an object will not affect the other objects.
