A STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENT SYSTEM FOR TERTIARY EDUCATION

ABSTRACT

 

            This contribution reviews shortly the application of artificial intelligence methods to predict effective and international background for tertiary education. The module attempted to explicate paths between personality dispositions, appraisal of problem solving skills, course choosing styles, and antecedents of tertiary education. There will be an engine for consulting the students based on the information given to the system. There will be also a user interface capable of handling queries, and presenting traces and explanation where needed. Results show that employing choice making strategies based on an individual’s preference significantly increased student’s tertiary education decidedness and decreased tertiary education. The target users of the system are students who have completed their higher school studies.
