ABSTRACT

This project addressed an online solution for lecturer and students to conduct and attend classes as if both parties are meeting face-to-face. It also investigates the problems and techniques of interactive real-time communication and suggests solution on how it can be applied and optimized for a meeting point over the network to conduct classes. This includes the research on the underlying network architecture and protocol to find out the most suitable type of connection to be used. In addition, this project is concerned on Electronic Learning (E-Learning), where different type of E-learning requires different type of facilities to carry out the teaching and learning session. Two project deliverables are delivered in this project – this project documentation and the Virtual Classroom system developed. This project documentation pivoted the researches done to produce the system and the software development processes taken applied for the system development.
